    Jill Hedges Artist

    Jill Hedges

    Co-Founder and Project Coordinator

    My practice revolves around memory and the measuring of human emotion. I use a variety of media to explore my ideas but gelatine and hair gel usually play a large part. My current area of research is concerned with speech and language.

    Warren Shaw Artist

    Warren Shaw

    Project Coordinator & Technician

    Warren lives and works as an artist and creative freelancer in Kettering, Northamptonshire. In 2009 he received his BA Honours in Fine Art at Oxford Brookes University and has since shown work in London, Oxford and Nottingham. This year will see his first solo show ‘Sound Forms’ take place at The Rooftop Gallery in Corby this April. Warren’s work primarily investigates the morphology of human experience through a variety of visual and aural media, resulting in synaesthetic interdisciplinary crossovers, installations and more traditional outcomes.

Since graduating Bethany has completed the first trimester of a Masters in Fine Art but is now working as a Fellow in Sculpture at University of Northampton. Bethany’s practice is mainly sculptural with a tendency for drawing and photography, her research and practice go hand-in-hand to explore notions of spirituality in Contemporary Art in relation to materiality and objecthood.

    Sharon Read

    Co-Founder and Project Coordinator

    Sharon is a fine artist and collaborator and is currently undertaking a BA in Fine Art at the University of Northampton. Initiating Gallery202 has enabled Sharon to explore diverse working practices and facilitate a number of collaborations and exchanges with the Gallery202 cohort. Her practice considers undescriptive thresholds and occupied liminal spaces whilst observing the fluctuation of a particular set of physiological situations.

    Graham Keddie MRBS

    Artist and curator describes his current Visual Art Practice in 2015 as: 'Examining the Philosophy of Ordinary Language, love and the consumption of milk'.

    He is quoted as saying;

    “Not everything I say is necessarily true but, I never tell a lie”

    And; I would describe myself as a Fine Art ‘Archaeologist’ or ‘Enquirer’. The exact nature of my practice is always in a state of 'Flux'. On anyone day if questioned, the answer will be determined by the circumstances of that Place and Time.

    Graham Keddie is a member of the Royal British Society of Sculptors. He exhibits regionally, internationally in Europe and America.

    Gallery202 is a contemporary artist led non-profit initiative based in Northamptonshire. We aim to bring contemporary art to rural and urban communities through exhibitions and artist involvement with the public. The initial start up of Gallery202 was funded by Social Enterprise from the University of Northampton.

    Gallery202 is Sharon Read, Graham Keddie, Jill Hedges, Bethany Murray, Billy Hawes and Warren Shaw.
